DelFosse Vineyards and Winery will present its Parade of the Celtic Nations Wine Dinner from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
The evening will feature a menu by Eric Stamer of Eric Stamer Catering and wines from DelFosse Winery. A complimentary wine glass is included, and guests will receive a 10 percent discount on wines purchased at the event.

Dinner will benefit Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels' third annual Spring Dinner will be 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Silver Thatch Inn.
At the inn, owned by Jim and Terri Petrovits, diners will enjoy a five-course dinner prepared by the inn's chefs and accompanied by wines from Cardinal Pointe or Afton Mountain Vineyards. Terri Petrovits is a driver for Meals on Wheels and also serves on the board of directors.

Pizza Bella rolls out its touch of green
Pizza Bella will celebrate St. Patrick's Day on Monday with live music, green beer, green pasta and Irish foods.

Gray Ghost plans auction and tasting
Gray Ghost Vineyards in Amissville will have a barrel tasting and silent auction from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Guests will taste developing Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon wines directly from the barrels and experience the art of blending. Gray Ghost opens its barrels for tastings once a year.
The $10 fee includes a logo glass and light hors d'oeuvres.

Irish Day Festival on tap in Lynchburg
The Rotary Club of Lynchburg will present its fifth annual St. Patrick's Day Irish Festival from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Academy of Fine Arts Warehouse Theatre at the corner of Commerce and Sixth streets in downtown Lynchburg.
There will be Irish cuisine from Avenue Foods, including Reuben paninis, mashed potatoes, roast loin of pork, corned beef and cabbage dip, baked salmon, roasted leg of lamb, cheesecake squares, brownies and Irish coffee. Riddle of the Harp will provide live Celtic music.
Raffle tickets are available for $10 for a drawing for a trip for two to Ireland. Items from Ireland are among the door prizes. Admission tickets are $50 per person and include dinner and two tickets for wine or beer.
