The Charlottesville Transit Service’s free trolley will make a detour for a couple hours Saturday to avoid Cavalier football traffic.
From 2 to 4:30 p.m., the trolley will not travel south of Emmet Street on Jefferson Park Avenue.
Instead, the trolley will travel westbound on Jefferson Park Avenue to Emmet Street, turn right onto University Avenue and return to its usual eastbound route at the Rotunda.
Charlottesville police will direct traffic to detours on game day.
The University of Virginia plays Clemson. Kickoff is slated for noon.
