Firefighters have extinguished the early morning fire in Crozet’s The Square industrial center and are wrapping up their investigation.
The fire, which was reported at 5 a.m., brought a large number of trucks and crews in response to blaze in a lumber yard and commercial center just off of the intersection of Crozet Avenue and Three-Notch’d Road near Crozet’s center. Crews used on-site hydrants to fill tanker trucks and supply hoses at the industrial property.
Fire officials have left the scene and returned to their stations. The cause of the fire and estimate damages should be available later today.
