A qualifying event for the Dog Agility World Championships is being held today at Misty Mountain Campground off U.S. 250 west of Crozet.
In dog agility trials, trainers direct canines thought obstacle courses. The event is sponsored by MadCo Agility, a local club.
The event starts at 8 a.m. and is free for the public. However, it is too late to enter a dog.
