Local advocacy groups are pre-emptively urging the United States not to attack Iran.
Protests involving giant puppets are planned for 6 tonight at the Freedom of Expression Wall on Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall. Organizers say hundreds of people will be there, wearing “Don’t Attack Iran” stickers, and a petition will be circulated urging the City Council to take a position against any potential attack on Iran.
A “forum on alternatives to attacking Iran” will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Albemarle County Office Building on McIntire Road, according to the Charlottesville Center for Peace and Justice.
The group says Charlottesville Code Pink is among the sponsors of the events, which are part of a national movement organized by United for Peace & Justice.

Local advocacy groups? You mean local communist groups, local terrorist groups or local Anti-America groups don’t you. With so much publicity it sounds like you all advocate what they do. Promote socialism, promote the failed ideas of Marx and Lenin and blame America first. And your friends at code pink, You know, the ones who promote the disruption of peoples constitutional right of freedom of speech by trying to shout down people who are also exercising their right of freedom of speech. Your rag is such a joke. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Kremlin had a subscription of your so called News Paper.

This is just so silly. Drama Queens that never got the attention they craved as children.
Why don’t these folks do something useful w/their lives? Like volunteering w/an organization where their time spent would actually do some good for the community?
