Monroe brings good feelings to the Mall

President James Monroe will make an appearance this eve-ning on the Downtown Mall.
The fifth president, as portrayed by Dennis Bigelow, will talk at the Downtown Mall’s Community Chalkboard and Podium, located outside City Hall at 7 p.m. Admission is free, and in the case of rain, the event will be moved to the Pavilion.
The event is sponsored by the Thomas Jefferson Center for the Protection of Free Expression.
