The MySpace.com personal pages of one of the suspects in the Interstate 64 sniper shootings portray a heartbroken young man who revels in his country heritage.
“I’m just a countryboy who keeps getting his heart broken!!!” says one page, a low-key testament to the author’s lack of luck finding love. “I’ve got my heart broken twice in less than a year … i dunno wat to do. keep gettin my heart broke or stop caring!!! and i don’t wanna stop caring…”
The pages are attributed to Slade A. Woodson, charged Friday with shooting into a Waynesboro building.
On the lovelorn page, the author adds that he’d like to meet “someone who cares about me as much as i care about them!!!”
That page was last updated in October, while the other, more gregarious page was updated more recently.
According to the time stamp, it was last revised on Wednesday, the day before the interstate shootings, which took place shortly after midnight Thursday.
The second page displays a mud-caked Jeep underscored by the screen name “Boggin.”
He lists his occupation as a “mechanic, sorta” and mentions his sports affiliations while at Western Albemarle High School from 2003 to 2007.
Woodson describes his interests as “Mud Boggin, workin on my trux, listenen to music, hangin out with friends…”
His listed height has increased an inch from the previous page, to 6 feet, and he describes himself as “athletic.”
The page displays Confederate flags prominently and includes the slogan, “Let’s just go buck wild!!!”
The pages remained online late Friday.
