The case of a Ruckersville woman accused of embezzling from the Greene County Youth Center will be heard Dec. 8 by a grand jury.

A judge certified 10 charges Wednesday against Heather Eve Gallimore. The 35-year-old former treasurer for the nonprofit was arrested Aug. 20 and charged with two counts of embezzlement and 10 counts of forgery, according to court records.
Greene Sheriff’s Cpl. Rodney Snead said authorities believe Gallimore took money from the youth center from July 2007 to June 2008. Investigators have not released a final total of how much was taken.

Snead declined to specify how authorities believe Gallimore took the money, but he said forgery charges usually involve bank documents.
Gallimore remains free on bond.
