Three men charged with first-degree murder in connection with a Charlottes-ville homicide are scheduled to have preliminary hearings Oct. 9.
Theodore Calvin Timberlake, 20, Bobby Wayne Gardner Jr., 25, and Trenton Michael Brock, 20, have already been assigned court-appointed attorneys for their cases.
The three men appeared Thursday in Charlottesville General District Court.
Police believe they were involved in the shooting death of 19-year-old Joshua Anthony Magruder, whose body police found the early morning of July 19 near the corner of Sixth Street Southeast and Monticello Avenue.
All three are being held without bond at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.
Rachel Denise Turner, 25, also was charged with a misdemeanor count of accessory-after-the fact in connection with the incident. She is scheduled to return to court Sept. 18.
