A former Sexual Assault Resource Agency employee accused of embezzling money from the organization may plead guilty in connection with the incident next month.

Damon Watson, 26, confirmed Thursday in Albemarle County Circuit Court that he anticipates entering a guilty plea when he comes back to court Nov. 18.

A grand jury handed down an indictment earlier this month charging Watson with two counts of embezzlement and one count of credit card fraud. Authorities have accused Watson, SARA’s former administrative assistant, of forging payroll documents and making unauthorized credit card charges. Walker Thornton, SARA’s director, said the agency lost about $21,000.
