A Crimora man has proclaimed his innocence in connection with three mid-June armed burglaries in Ruckersville.

Brian Eugene Brubaker pleaded not guilty to three counts of robbery Tuesday in Greene County Circuit Court, said Ron Morris, Greene commonwealth’s attorney.

A Greene grand jury charged Brubaker on Monday with the counts in connection with incidents at Bootville, Food Lion and the Crawford Saddlery. Morris said Brubaker would return Oct. 7 for a hearing that his defense attorney requested to suppress statements Brubaker reportedly had made to police.
