An Earlysville man faces an attempted murder charge in connection with shots fired Tuesday morning, according to Albemarle police.

Gradyo Taylor, who also faces a charge of attempted involuntary manslaughter, remains in the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail without bond.

At about 7:15 Tuesday morning, Taylor, 59, fired several shots at two men outside a home in the 1000 block of Buck Mountain Ford Lane and fled, Lt. Todd Hopwood said. Neither of the men, ages 46 and 66, was hurt.

Taylor was arrested at his home, 704 Buck Mountain Road, just before noon Tuesday.

Police did not say what led to the incident.
