Suspect faces attempted murder charge

A Charlottesville man was arrested Tuesday after reports of gunshots on Jefferson Park Avenue.
Charlottesville police said the shots were fired around 10 a.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Jefferson Park Avenue.
No one was injured, but police arrested Clayton Douglas Jr., 19, of Charlottesville, who was charged with attempted murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Police said Douglas was involved in an argument that led to the gunshots.
Douglas is being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail without bond.
