UVa’s Osher institute to offer classes for seniors

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Virginia is offering local senior citizens an array of more than 50 classes for the fall semester.
More than 25 of the courses are new. Subjects include politics, the environment, opera, local history, investing, poetry and much more.
The fall classes are offered in two sessions: Sept. 8 to Oct. 24 and Oct. 27 to Dec. 12. Classes are held once a week for three to six weeks.
