Jennifer Richter has been named assistant superintendent of instruction for Greene County Schools.

Richter will replace David Jeck, who is becoming superintendent on July 1.

Richter has been the division’s director of instruction for the past three years.

Andrea Whitmarsh, currently the principal of Greene County Primary School, has been named director of student accountability and student achievement. The position, formerly the director of instruction, has been restructured to focus on individual student needs related to direct instruction and ongoing student assessment.

A search is under way for a new Greene County Primary School principal.
