Tractor-trailer crash shuts down U.S. 15

A crash involving a tractor-trailer near Zion Crossroads in Louisa County shut down U.S. 15 for about an hour Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened just after 3:30 p.m. and blocked the southbound lanes at the Interstate 64 interchange, according to Lou Hatter with the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Traffic was detoured for about an hour while the scene was cleared.
No further information was available on the accident.
