I wonder: Do Virginians, as well as all Americans, realize that a vote for Barack Obama is also a vote for Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid? This gang of three will be able to do anything they want with no checks or balances.

If voters want to see what the United States will look like under these three super-liberals, they only have to look at the failed government of Michigan. Is this what Virginians want?
I realize a lot of people want to go back to the Clinton years, but Bill Clinton was a moderate and the House and Senate were nothing like they are now.
I hope that Barack Obama supporters will think about the consequences when they vote for “change.” Are they sure they’ll get the kind of change they want?

No political party should have all three parts of government, and I hope that people will vote for John McCain to exert some control of government excess.

We all know what a government looks like that has no check or balances.  We seem to have had one for the past eight years and the results of that have been less than stellar.  While I agree that representative government should represent everyone, one has to consider why over half of the electorate is so eager to hand control to the “other” party.  Detractors of Sen. Obama and other leading Democrats have little credibility in their “be very afraid” strategy.  We’re already scared to death.
