Disgusted by GOP chair’s comments

Now we read that the chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia, Jeffery Frederick, has prepared a group of volunteers going door-to-door in this presidential campaign in support of John McCain by saying that Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden “both have friends that bombed the Pentagon” and “that’s scary.”
When will this kind of insanity end? The polls have indicated that the American electorate is sick and tired of these negative personality attacks and character bashing. If the candidates can’t engage their own merits on the issues, they should perhaps just pack it up and go home.
