Barack Obama served only two years in the U.S. Senate before he decided he was too important to be just a senator. He then decided to run for president.
In contrast, John McCain has 25 years of congressional experience and more than 20 years in the Navy. He has seen and done more for the good of our country and the cause of freedom than ’most anybody in our government.
I note that the three news anchors, Katie Couric, Brian Williams and Charley Gibson, accompanied Obama on a quick trip to Iraq. Where were they when John McCain went to Iraq to see the situation firsthand?
The news media are going to attempt to make Obama look presidential, fawn all over him, say how great a commander in chief he would make — this rank amateur with little experience as a leader and no prior military service.
I hope the American public is not fooled by this “news” fiasco.
Let us recognize Barack Obama for what he is: a pleasant-speaking empty suit with no experience to qualify him to be leader of our country and the entire free world in these very dangerous times.

In light of the fact that our past two presidents had little national leadership experience and no military service, yet defeated more experienced opponents, please clarify why you feel these things should matter this time. Thank you.
