What good has Goode gotten us?

I listened to the Sept. 4 debate between Tom Perriello and Virgil Goode on The Daily Progress’s pod cast online. Tom Perriello gives an exciting and fresh viewpoint to the race for Virginia’s Fifth Congressional District. Mr. Goode repeated his same old party lines that he has been touting since his conversion from Democrat to Republican in 2002.
Goode spoke of all the things he plans to do if he is re-elected. I would ask: What has he done since he first began representing the Fifth District in 1997? Thanks to the policies of incumbents such as Virgil Goode, several of my neighbors and I are being laid off from our jobs.
This November it’s time to vote for real change. Tom Perriello won the debate hands down.
