According to recent news reports, Sen. Barack Obama has now established what he thinks his critics will use against him in his bid for the White House.
In so doing, he has made known what he would desire Americans in general and his political opponents in particular not to say.
We should not talk about his youth. We should not talk about his social and business associations. We should not talk about his inexperience. We should not talk about his lack of political accomplishments. We should not talk about his funny name. We should not talk about his religion. We should not talk about his wife. We should not talk about his being a black man.
All of these he has mentioned so far. There may be more to come.
These are a list of “desires” prior to the election. One has to wonder if they will become “demands” if he is elected.
Democrats love America and their freedom of speech rights as much as Republicans do. This development must certainly give the party faithful something to think about.
