Congratulations to Princess R. Moss, Louisa success story.

The 47-year-old music educator who began her teaching career in Louisa County has advanced all the way to the board of the National Edu-cation Association.

Ms. Moss campaigned cross-country for a year in order to win election to the board for a three-year term. The NEA serves 3.2 million teachers and support staff nationwide.
Currently she is president of the Virginia Education Association. That term ends Aug. 1.

Before earning that position, she was president of the Louisa Education Association.
Ms. Moss first dedicated herself to music, then to children and the teaching of music, and now to other teachers and school support personnel. She has dedicated herself
one step at a time, following the signposts as they led her from one achievement to another.

That in itself is an inspiration.
Best wishes to her in her new work.
