Cooling off?
For those in the audience who have the chilling sensation that this spring has been cooler than normal, now comes the National Climatic Data Center with this news flash: The contiguous United States experienced an average temperature of 42 degrees in March, which was 0.4 degrees Fahrenheit below the mean temperature for the month for the entire 20th Century.
Preliminary data ranked the month the 52nd coolest on record. Where’s Al Gore when you need him?
