Alleged Interstate 64 sniper Slade Woodson was indicted by a Waynesboro grand jury today on six felony charges stemming from two early-morning shooting incidents in the city.

A 16-year-old Crozet boy pleaded guilty Wednesday to several charges in connection with the March shootings on Interstate 64.

Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney Darby Lowe said the teenager pleaded guilty to five counts of maliciously shooting at an occupied vehicle.

Friends and family of the teenage Interstate 64 shooting suspect sighed with relief Wednesday when the judge decided to try the 16-year-old as a juvenile.
