Albemarle Post 74 cruises to win

In Spotsylvania, Tyler Marshall and Sean Sweeney combined for a two-hit shutout as Albemarle Post 74 defeated Courtland Post 55 12-0 on Friday night.
Marshall had eight strikeouts in five innings of work. Patrick Collins went 3 for 4 with a double and three runs. Daniel Haugh went 2 for 5 with a double, three RBI and two runs and Andrew Bradley went 2 for 5 with a double, a triple, an RBI and a run.
Post 74 (16-4, 10-3 District 12) returns to action with a doubleheader this afternoon against Spotsylvania Post 320. The first game starts at 4 p.m.
