The William Monroe girls basketball team wrapped up their undefeated season Friday night at Brentsville District High School with a 31-20 victory over the Tigers. The win was Monroe’s 21st straight victory and capped off an unprecedented season.

CULPEPER — The undefeated William Monroe girls basketball team notched their 17th straight win last Friday night at Northwestern District rival Culpeper County High School, 62-45.

CROZET — The second annual Play for Preemies Showcase benefit girls basketball tournament saw 12 teams display support for the UVA Children’s Hospital in Charlottesville and the Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital in Roanoke on Saturday, Jan. 6.
