Charlottesville police seized three .40-caliber handguns, a .22-caliber rifle, $4,963 in cash and an undisclosed amount of marijuana and cocaine from Charlottesville resident Maurice Toneal Harris on Dec. 14, search warrants show.

Harris was charged with selling and distributing marijuana, manufacture of a controlled substance, transporting drugs into Virginia and possession of a gun with schedule I and II drugs.

A search of Harris' house at 154 Burnet St. yielded three buckets, a Redskins duffel bag and a Gucci backpack filled with cocaine and marijuana. Authorities also recovered nearly 50 rounds of ammunition and five cell phones.

Harris was released on bond. His next court appearance is Feb. 14 at 1 p.m.
