A Crozet woman accused of trying to kill her husband by giving him an unnecessary insulin shot waived her right to a preliminary hearing Monday morning.
Authorities arrested Theresa Lynn Brady, 33, in August after her husband, James Brady, awoke feeling a “prick” on his abdomen, police said. His wife was lying next to him with a flashlight, according to a search warrant.
James Brady found two syringes on the floor, one with a bent needle, according to the warrant. When Brady questioned his wife, she said she was giving him medicine “to make him feel better,” the warrant says.
Theresa Brady is being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.
