School board asks for study funding

In order to determine what repairs are needed for city schools, Waynesboro needs to pay for a facilities study. That was the decision Tuesday night from the Waynesboro School Board, who unanimously adopted a resolution asking city council members to fund such a project.

“You can’t fix a problem until you diagnose a problem,” school board member Melinda Ferguson said. “We’re at the point where we have no data at all and it hamstrings us completely.”
