Harry Clifton Belew Harry Clifton Belew, 92, of Scottsville, died on Friday, September 6, 2013, at his home. He was born on July 7, 1921, in Greenwood, a son of the late Harry Loving and Lena (Critzer) Belew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patience Rittenhouse "Patty" Belew; four brothers; and two sisters. Mr. Belew served in the United States Army during World War II. He was self-employed as a paint contractor and farmer. Survivors include four sons, Rodger D. Belew and his wife, Sue, Mark C. "Blackie" Belew and his wife, Judy, Clifton Merritt Belew and his wife, Patsy, and Barry W. Belew, all of Scottsville; nine grandchildren, Stephanie, David, Kelly, Mark, Misty, Jeremy, Amanda, Caleb, and Chelsea Belew; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home. Graveside services will be private.
