Barbara Jean Carter Barbara Jean Carter, 61, of Crimora, died on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at her residence. She was born on January 14, 1952, in Charlottesville, daughter of the late Harold Loschelder and Sally Loschelder Via. Barabara worked at ASR and attended Waynesboro Free Pentacostal Church. She also was preceded in death by brothers, Lennie Sanford, Gerald Sanford, and Charles Marshall; and sisters, Geraldine Dollins and Gail Loschelder. Surviving are her husband, Ricky Carter; son, Shane Norvell; brothers, Wayne Sanford and Harold and Willie Loschelder; sisters, Frances Walker, Alma Megginson, Penny Via, and Joan Hewitt; nieces and nephews; special brother-in-law, Kenny Carter; special friends, Tricky and Maggie; and her special girl, Molly. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at the New Hope United Methodist Church by Mr. Gary Walker and Pastor Daniel Painter. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Josh Bennett, Kenneth Carter, Donnie Clark, Josh Martinez, Kenny Megginson, Jason Pace, Leon Sheets, and David Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at McDow Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Condolences may be shared at
