Jeffrey Lee Harlow Jeffrey Lee Harlow, 54, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 2, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. Born on January 8, 1959, he was the son of the late James C. Harlow. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Becky B. Harlow; a stepdaughter, Wendy L. Conley; and a stepson, Robert W. Conley and his wife, Tina; eight grandkids, all of Yuma, Arizona; one brother, Joel Harlow and his wife, Kate, of Chesapeake, Virginia; a niece, Melanie Harlow; and nephew, Ethan Harlow. Other survivors include brother-in-law, John Bishop and his wife, Brenda; sister-in-law, Earline Flint and her husband, Gary; brother-in-law, Beau Bishop and his wife, Kelly; numerous nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Sergio Velasquez. Jeff also leaves behind his beloved pets, dogs, Trixie and Noah and his cat, Delta Moon. Jeff was a United States Army veteran, serving in Korea from 1976 until 1977, and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal in August 1977. He was a true soldier and qualified as an expert marksman with several weapons. Following his service in the Army, he worked for the Holiday Inn, where he retired after 25 years due to medical concerns. A graveside service with military honors will be held 1 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2013, at Riverview Cemetery, with Chaplain Greg Compton officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Hill and Wood Funeral Home. His family would like to thank his wonderful neighbors and friends, especially his good friends from Riverside Lunch and VFW Post 1827 for their friendship and support.
