No doubt one of the many issues in the 24th Senate District race this year is the EPA’s impact on Virginia farms. In trying to address this issue, Marshall Pattie wrote a recent op-ed in the “Blue Ridge Messenger” (a newsletter for the Madison County Republican Women) where he said: "It is one thing to protest against the EPA or to state support for the 10th Amendment - it is another to come up with a plan to protect the freedom of our residents."

After much consideration, I came to realize that rather than one trend being more important than the next; it is our response to the current trends that is most important.
