This eight-week course will focus on drawing outside and in public places. The first three classes will be held in the classroom and students will gain an understanding of how to draw natural and manmade objects, as well as how to quickly sketch a scene that might include people. The next four lessons will be spent on location (in a park, a shopping mall, and downtown) before you return to the classroom for the final session to add finishing touches to your work. Center veteran artist Susan Patrick is the instructor. Open to all, but space is limited. Please register in advance, or at the Welcome Desk. Supplies needed: Pad of drawing paper (80#, 11" x 14"), pencil, and eraser.  Members - $75; Guests - $85

  • Starting Friday, September 27th, 2019, repeats every week on Friday until Friday, November 08, 2019 @ 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
