The Virginia football team picked up a commitment from four-star offensive tackle Jimmy Christ on Tuesday afternoon. Christ, whose brother, Tommy, is a defensive lineman for the Cavaliers, announced his decision in a Twitter post.
He will be part of the Cavaliers’ 2020 recruiting class.
Christ is a 6-foot-7, 285-pound tackle who plays at Dominion High School in Sterling. He chose Virginia over offers from Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Penn State and North Carolina, among others.
Christ is the fourth commitment for Virginia’s 2020 recruiting class, joining defensive tackle Jahmeer Carter, offensive lineman Jestus Johnson and defensive back Bud Clark.
