The Virginia football team’s Friday, Oct. 11 game at Miami will kick at 8 p.m. and be broadcast on ESPN, the ACC announced on Thursday.

Also Thursday, the conference announced that Virginia’s home game against Virginia Tech on Friday, Nov. 29 will be broadcast on ABC or ESPN. The start time for the Commonwealth Cup game will be determined at a later date.

After the first three weeks of the season, game times and TV network selections will be announced weekly with the ACC’s television partners making their choices utilizing a 12-day advance notice beginning Monday, Sept. 9 (for games on Saturday, Sept. 21). ACC television partners also reserve the right to use a six-day selection notice on a limited basis during the season.

With Thursday’s announcement, Virginia now has four night games on its 2019 schedule. The Cavaliers’ season-opening game at Pitt on Aug. 31 will start at 7:30 p.m.

UVa’s first home of the season, which will take place Friday, Sept. 6 vs. William & Mary, will kick at 8 p.m., while the Cavaliers’ home game on Sept. 14 against Florida State will start at 7:30 p.m.

All three games will be broadcast live on the new ACC Network.
