Adam graduated college Magna Cum Laude in 1989 with a focus on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration design. For the next 10 years, Adam advanced from equipment sales to system design and finally management. In 1998, Adam moved his family to Lynchburg to accept a position as a comfort consultant and was eventually promoted to sales manager. In 2012, Adam joined Southern Air Residential as a Project Manager and also is a Certified Master Technician.

Gerry started in HVAC in 1986 as an apprentice and quickly moved on to be Master Technician, working in that position for the next 20 years. He was then promoted to service manager and field trainer, and currently NATE certified, manages the day to day operations and all field personnel.

Joe started working in the HVAC industry in 1995 as an apprentice in the installation of heating and air units and worked his way up to lead mechanic. He then moved over to the service side and handled maintenance of the heating and cooling units with some service repair work. While working in service, Joe attended CVCC night school to earn his degree and became a Master Technician. Starting in 2001, Joe moved into sales and continued his education with classes and seminars on properly sizing the heating and cooling units as well as duct and home designs.

In 1998, Wyatt started as an apprentice for installation of residential heating and air conditioning systems. During that year he acquired his state journeyman’s card. In 1999 he was promoted to Lead Mechanic for installation and in 2004 acquired his State Masters Certification. In 2008, Wyatt moved into the service department where he ran service calls and tune-ups. In 2012, he joined Southern Air Residential as a Master Technician where his duties include Installation of new systems, running service calls, and performing tune-ups.

Brad was hired in 2005 as an apprentice for installation of residential heating and air conditioning systems. During that time he acquired his state journeyman’s card. In 2009 he was promoted to Lead Mechanic for installation and in 2010 acquired his State Masters Certification. In early 2012, Brad joined Southern Air Residential as a Master Technician where his duties include installation of new systems, running service calls, and performing tune-ups.

Max started as an apprentice on an Installation truck in 2003 and quickly moved into lead mechanic position. While running the install truck he earned his journeyman’s card and then his State Masters Certification. In 2011 Max moved to service tech position and in early 2012 became a part of the Southern Air Residential team, where his duties include installation of new systems, running service calls, and performing tune-ups.

Tyler was hired in 2003 as an apprentice for installation of residential heating and air conditioning systems. While here, he acquired his state journeyman’s card. In 2005 he was promoted to Lead Mechanic for installation and, in 2008, acquired his State Masters Certification. In 2010 Tyler moved into the service department where he ran service calls and tune-ups. In early 2012, he joined Southern Air Residential as a Master Technician where he provides installation of new systems, runs service calls, and performs tune-ups.

Jason is a graduate of Jefferson Forest High School and attended Ferrum College before starting with Southern Air in 2004 in the Indoor Air Quality Department. In 2009 Jason moved to the residential department and is qualified for installs, preventative maintenance’s (Tune-ups) and service calls. He obtained his Masters Certification in 2014.

In 2006 he attended Advanced Technology Institute, where he was employed by a heating and air company as an apprentice. Upon graduation, he joined the Army National Guard and served our country for 6 years. During this time he also held full-time employment for a heating and air company. He then became lead mechanic, received his journeyman’s in 2013, and then his Master’s certification in 2014. Nelson joined SAI in 2015.
