Wayland BRBA holds black history program

The Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association Women’s Auxiliary will host its 42nd annual Black History Program Sunday, Feb. 24, at 3:30 p.m. Guests include Taryn Weaver, with her unique and captivating impersonation of Harriet Tubman; music by Dynamic Praise of Northern Virginia, led by Min. Patricia Lespoir; and the Rock Church Liturgical Dancers. Tickets are $5 in advance for adults ($7 at the door) and $1 for school-age students. Antioch Baptist holds missions week revival

Antioch Baptist Church’s annual Missions Week Revival will be Tuesday, Feb. 26-Thursday, Feb. 28. Devotions will be at 7 p.m. and service at 7:30 p.m. Schedule as follows:

Cedar Grove Church holds breakfast on March 2

Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren will serve a southern style breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2 at the church, 607 Cedar Grove Road, Ruckersville. The menu includes homemade sausage gravy, chipped beef, biscuits, French toast, eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, juice and coffee. Westover UMC holds country breakfast

Westover United Methodist Church will hold an all-you-can-eat country breakfast from 8-11 a.m. on Saturday, March 2 at the church, 2801 Fredericksburg Road, Ruckersville. Menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, biscuits, gravy, fruit toppings, coffee, tea and juice. The cost will be $8 for adults and children 10 and under are free. Proceeds benefit the church’s building fund and GRACE.

Grace Church holds Shrove Tuesday supper

Stanardsville United Methodist Church’s Tuesday’s Table program needs delivery drivers for those who cannot make it out in Greene County.
