Emmanuel Christian Center youth fundraiser

Emmanuel Christian Center will hold two fundraisers on Saturday, April 27. A community yard sale will start at 6 a.m. with a fish fry at 10 a.m. Take out plates are available. Ethnic cooking at Amicus Seventh-day Adventist

An ethnic cooking class will be held at the Amicus Seventh-day Adventist Church on April 28 from 4-6 p.m. Featured for this first in a series of six will be food from the Philippines. There is no fee for the class, but reservations are requested by April 24 to (540) 661-0166. The church is located at 3980 Jacks Shop Road in Rochelle.

Spring Festival at Nortonsville Church of God

On Saturday, May 4, Nortonsville Church of God will hold a Spring Festival. The festival will include a yard sale from 8 a.m.-noon and an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet from 8-10:30 a.m. Breakfast is $6 for adults, $3 for children 6-10 and free for children under 5. Pony rides and face painting will be offered from 9-11 a.m. Dyke Fire Department will also be onsite from 9-11 a.m. with balloons and candy. NCOG is located at 1505 Simmons Gap Road, Dyke.

Stanardsville Baptist holds special fundraiser

Stanardsville Baptist Church holds its semi-annual breakfast, baked goods and craft sale on Saturday, May 4 in Stanardsville from 7-11 a.m. Breakfast is $6 for adults and $3 for children, including bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits, sausage gravy, French toast and more. Westover UMC holds country breakfast

Westover United Methodist Church in Ruckersville holds an all-you-can eat country breakfast from 8-11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4. The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, biscuits, gravy, fruit toppings, coffee, tea and juice. Adults are $8 and children 10 and under are free. Indoor yard and bake sale at Mt. Lebanon

Mt. Lebanon Church of the Brethren will have an indoor yard sale and bake sale at the Greene County Senior Center from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on May 4. Items will be available for sale along with country ham biscuits and beverages. The sale will benefit the building fund for the Church in Barboursville.

Antioch Baptist Church holds cemetery rally day

Antioch Baptist Church in Madison will hold a cemetery rally day on Sunday, May 5. Morning service will begin at 11 a.m. and lunch will be served following morning service. Afternoon service will begin at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Lewis of Cloverdale Baptist Church in Bremo Bluff as the guest preacher along with male chorus and congregation.

Greene United Methodist Church Charge revival

From Sunday, May 5 to Friday, May 10 starting at 7:30 p.m. at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church there will be preachers from different churches and denominations from the Greene County Ministerial Association. Mount Vernon UMC is located at 76 Garth Road.
