Westover UMC country breakfast canceled
Westover United Methodist Church will not be serving the country breakfast on Saturday, June 1 due to an issue outside its control. The next country breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, July 6.
Blue Ridge Presbyterian holds Bible study
Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church will have a fourweek Bible study on chapters 8- 10 of the Gospel of Matthew at a member’s home on May 30 and June 6 at 6:30 p.m. with refreshments. Cedar Grove Brethren revival and homecoming
A revival takes place May 29-31 at Cedar Grove Church, with homecoming on Sunday, June 2. Services will start at 7 p.m. with special music. Homecoming will start at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will follow the service and all are welcome to stay and join in the fellowship. Doug Goucenour will be the guest speaker for the Revival. Annual Strawberry Festival in Stanardsville
Stanardsville United Methodist Church holds its 30th annual Strawberry Festival on Saturday, June 1 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Breakfast is from 7-11 a.m. and lunch is 11 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be several bands and other entertainment, children’s activities, vintage cars and arts and crafts on display. Stained glass window dedicated at Grace Church

Celebration of Eloise Giles
A Celebration of Life Service for Eloise Giles will be held at Grace Episcopal Church at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 8. There will be a reception provided by the parishioners of Grace Church, in the parish hall immediately following.
