Lois Davis Collier, 82, of Stanardsville, Va., passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at her home. She was born on May 17, 1936, to the late William Russel Davis and Almira Shifflett Davis. Lois was a member of the Sandy Bottom and Middle River Pentecostal Church, and excellent seamstress, and loved to sing and play the piano. She is survived by her husband, Leabert Raymond Collier; two sons, Leabert "Warren" Collier and wife, Suzanne, of Louisa, and David Clarence Collier and wife, Emmogene, of Dyke; three grandchildren, Jonathan Collier, Scott Collier, and Merribeth Neal; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison, conducted by Pastor Eddie Deane. Interment will be held at the Mission Home Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 10 until 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019. A special thanks to our caregiver, Betty Williams and Medi Home Health Care and Hospice.
