With the support of the Greene County School Board and William Monroe High School, The William Monroe Parent Teacher Organization& Students (PTOS) would like to officially request your consideration for a tax-deductible donation to support the high school’s 2019 After Prom Party “All Night Long.” No donation is too large or too small and all are vitally needed to ensure this event’s success. We cannot hope to do this without you.
The William Monroe PTOS was founded in December 2018 and would like to offer a safe evening for the students of William Monroe High School who attend prom on April 20.
Our intention is to provide an evening with food, prizes and most importantly alcohol and drug free. We would like to offer a special drawing at the end of the night with a $500 scholarship to a lucky senior who stays for the duration of the event.
The last time William Monroe High School offered such an event was in 2009. Our PTOS is very passionate about safety and fun. Most importantly, we need our community to come together to support this event. The event will take place on the evening of April 20 and run into the morning of April 21.
We will be hosting an evening fundraiser at the Lafayette Hotel in Stanardsville on March 24 to support our efforts to raise the needed funding for the event. Our goal is to reach $3,500 so that the event will be absolutely free to students. If we are unable to, we will not be able to move forward with the All Night Long party. The generosity of people and businesses in our community will make this night a success.
Whether your donation is monetary, goods or services, volunteering or actively helping us to shape the event itself, every type of donation makes a difference. We cannot emphasize enough the importance of this event for our community, nor can we stress enough the dependence we have on the generosity of our donors and community leaders.
Please support the PTOS- All Night Long after prom party. Contact Amy Hollis at firstname.lastname@example.org for information.
