The Mountaineers got off to a great start last week, shooting a 187 defeating Stonewall (199) and Rappahannock (255). The team was led by Tucker Brockman who shot a 41 and Chase Ryder who shot a 45. Two days later, the team shot a nine hole score of 191 beating Clarke (231), but losing to Strasburg (186). Aaron Henshaw and Brockman led the team, both shooting a 46. On Monday, the team beat East Rockingham 99-109. The match was called after five holes due to lightning at Greene Hills Golf Course. Ryder (23), Brockman (25), Dean Breeden (25) and James Tanner (26) scored for the Mountaineers. Madison was scheduled to play Culpeper Wednesday and Luray next Tuesday.
