Madison Marksmen-state tourney

On Sept. 14, three members of the Madison Marksmen 4-H Shooting Sports Club traveled to Holliday Lake 4-H Education Center in Appomattox to compete in the 4-H State Shoot. There was a record crowd with more than 300 athletes in attendance. Madison athletes competed in the disciplines of Air Rifle Sporter Junior and Senior and Smallbore .22 Scoped Senior. Evie Foster placed second in Air Rifle Sporter Junior. Stephanie Walrond placed sixth in Air Rifle Sporter Senior. She also placed seventh in Smallbore .22 Scoped Senior. Charles Coble placed 10th in Air Rifle Sporter Senior. He also placed first in Smallbore .22 Scoped Senior. Congratulations Madison Marksmen.
