A Charlottesville man has been arrested after a shooting at the Commonwealth Skybar restaurant Friday night.

Tayveyon Laric Brown, 18, was arrested Saturday morning after the Charlottesville Police Department said he fired into the restaurant at about 11:30 p.m. Friday. No one was injured.

When authorities first arrived at the Downtown Mall restaurant, which was open at the time of the shooting, they found a bullet hole in a window.

Brown has been charged with attempted malicious wounding, shooting into an occupied dwelling, discharging a firearm in the city, discharging a firearm in a street or place of public business and reckless handling of a firearm.

He is being held at Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail, pending a bond review hearing Monday in Charlottesville General District Court.
