Betsy Hemp of Middlebrook was indicted on Tuesday. She is scheduled to go to trial in September.
Hemp faces six felony counts of animal cruelty and six misdemeanors of illegal disposal of an animal.
The indictment comes after six hound puppies were discovered shot to death on Troxel Gap Road in Middlebrook in December. Police say deputies discovered the dogs thrown over a steep embankment. They estimated them to be four to six months old.
