Three local high school seniors have been awarded the Raymond and Peggy Reed Scholarship. Each will receive a $1,000 scholarship toward the college of their choice.
Micalah Morrison, a senior at Waynesboro High School, will attend Widener University in the fall. She plans to pursue a master’s degree in biomedical engineering with a minor in mechanical engineering, and a career in the prosthetics field.
Stuarts Draft High School’s Anna Gabrielle Patarinski will be attending George Mason University in the fall and was accepted into the university’s Honors College. She plans to major in psychology and hopes to pursue a career as an industrial-organizational psychologist.
Wilson Memorial High School’s Kirsten Ruth Bauer will attend Longwood University in the fall and study environmental science.
