The Crawford Brothers of Staunton will be in concert Saturday, April 13, at 3 p.m. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Nasons. The price of admission is $10 at the door. All proceeds will benefit the building fund.

EASTER EGG DROP

The Orange Baptist Church Easter Egg Drop will take place Saturday, April 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will include food, games, hay rides and other children’s activities.

OAK CHAPEL PALM SUNDAY LUNCH

Oak Chapel Baptist Church, located at 11415 Montford Road in Orange, invites the community to a free lunch in the fellowship hall immediately following the 11 a.m. worship service (at approximately noon) on Palm Sunday, April 14. The church will sing, read scripture, pray and hear a message about the crucifixion of Jesus based on Matthew 27:33-53. Lunch is free but those who plan to attend should call 672-4654 so that the church can prepare enough food.

OPC SCHOOL REUNION

The Orange Presbyterian Weekday School will celebrate its 40th anniversary Sunday, April 14, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Orange Presbyterian Church fellowship hall. The community is invited to stop by to visit with past teachers and students of the program. Food and entertainment will be provided.

WBRBA DEVELOPMENT DAY

The Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association Women’s Auxiliary will host its semi-annual training development day Wednesday, April 17. Registration will begin at 12 noon, with lunch being served before the session starts at 1:30 p.m. New members are invited. The training will be held at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, Tanners. BUMC MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICE

Barboursville United Methodist Church will observe the Last Supper at its Holy Thursday service April 18 at 5 p.m. The service will be a remembrance of how Jesus lived out the golden rule on the night he was betrayed and taught his disciples to do to others as he had done to them: washing their feet, forgiving their sins and loving them unconditionally. WBRBA EASTER CELEBRATION

The Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association will present an Easter play titled, “From Dark Morning into Dawn,” Thursday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Culpeper. All are invited to this free program.

Rhoadesville Baptist Church invites the community to its Maundy Thursday service April 18 at 7 p.m. The service will include communion and a cantata by the Rhoadesville Baptist Church Choir. The Rev. Chris Gourly will serve as speaker.

GUMC GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE

Gordonsville United Methodist Church will remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross at its Good Friday service April 19 at 7:30 p.m. The service will center on Jesus’ message that good trees can be recognized by their fruits and how despite its appearance, the tree of the cross proved to be the best tree of all, because Christ’s death upon it bore the fruit of everlasting life. All are welcome.

MT. Pisgah Easter services

Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, Tanners, announces its Easter weekend services. Friday, April 19, the church will present the “Seven Last Sayings of Christ” at 7 p.m. Guest preachers are: the Rev. Robert Anthony, pastor of Blue Run Baptist Church; the Rev. Maurice Evans, pastor of Elk Run Baptist Church; the Rev. James Brown, pastor of Mount Sinai Baptist Church; the Rev. MAIN UNO FISH FRY

Main Uno Baptist Church will host a fish fry Saturday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The menu will include fish, fries, coleslaw, corn on the cob, corn bread, beverages and dessert. The cost is $10 per person and proceeds benefit the Armor Bearer ministry.

COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY

The Community Bible Study Fellowship will meet Saturday, April 20, at 5 p.m. at the East Orange Ruritan building, located at 24124 Constitution Highway, Unionville, at the intersection of routes 20 and 522. The Rev. Dr. Darryle Crump will lead a discussion on spiritual warfare. All are welcome.

Flat Run Church invites the community to its Easter services Sunday, April 21, at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The 10:30 a.m. service will feature kids’ church and a family photo set. Child care will be provided in the nursery during both services. Pictures taken April 21 will be emailed and one complimentary picture can be picked up in the lobby Sunday, April 28, before or after the 10:30 a.m. service. SERVICES AND BREAKFAST

Weather permitting, the congregation of Oak Chapel Baptist Church will gather outside the church April 21 at 6:15 a.m. facing the rising sun to reflect briefly on the risen Son. A hot breakfast will be served at 6:30 a.m., rain or shine, in the fellowship hall. Breakfast is free but those who plan to attend should call 672-4654 to ensure that enough food is prepared. Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Rapidan, will hold a “Son Rise” service Easter morning at 7 a.m., rain or shine, at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church Cemetery, located on Rapidan Road. MEGA SPORTS CAMP

Mountain View Community Church will sponsor “Mega Sports Camp” June 10-14 from 9 a.m. to noon each day at Booster Park in Orange. The camp is open to children ages 6-11 and will include flag football, soccer, cheerleading and kickball. Registration is required no later than May 20 and can be completed at bit.ly/2MVEVENTS. The cost is $25 per child if registered on or before May 6, or $30 afterward. Snacks will be provided.
