Gordonsville United Methodist Church will remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross at its Good Friday service April 19 at 7:30 p.m. The service will center on Jesus’ message that good trees can be recognized by their fruits and how despite its appearance, the tree of the cross proved to be the best tree of all, because Christ’s death upon it bore the fruit of everlasting life. MAIN UNO FISH FRY
Main Uno Baptist Church will host a fish fry Saturday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The menu will include fish, fries, coleslaw, corn on the cob, corn bread, beverages and dessert. The cost is $10 per person and proceeds benefit the Armor Bearer ministry.
