MEGA SPORTS CAMP

Mountain View Community Church will sponsor “Mega Sports Camp” June 10-14 from 9 a.m. to noon each day at Booster Park in Orange. The camp is open to children ages 6-11 and will include flag football, soccer, cheerleading and kickball. Registration is required no later than May 20 and can be completed at bit.ly/2MVEVENTS. The cost is $30 per child.  Snacks will be provided.

BLUE RUN VBS

Blue Run Baptist Church, Somerset, will hold its Vacation Bible School June 10-14 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. nightly. Dinner will be provided each evening. Children in grades pre-K though high school are invited to this free event to learn about the life of Moses. Join the church for music, crafts and fun.

MT. HOLY VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Mount Holy Baptist Church will host vacation Bible school June 12-14 from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. each night. In addition, a cookout will be held to celebrate the end of vacation Bible school June 15 at noon. All are welcome to enjoy food, games and Bible lessons. The deadline for registration is May 31. The Missionary  ministry of the Main Uno Baptist Church, Rochelle, will host a Tea Luncheon on Saturday, June 15 at 11 a.m.  The guest preacher will be Rev. Karen Cooper, pastor of the Way of The Cross in Palmyra.

ANNUAL MEN’S DAY SERVICE

The annual Men’s Day service will be held at Main Uno on Sunday, June 23 in the 11 a.m. morning service.  The guest preacher will be Rev. Ken Edwards, associate of Jerusalem International Church in Charlottesville.

BBC 121st ANNIVERSARY

Bethel Baptist Church of Madison Mills will celebrate its 121st  Church Anniversary on Sunday, June 23, 2019.  Service will begin at 11 a.m. Pastor-elect Rev. Willie Elder will be preaching the anniversary service.  Come celebrate and pay tribute to 121 of serving God.  Light refreshments will be served after the morning service.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL AT ANTIOCH BAPTIST

BLUE RUN BAPTIST 250th CELEBRATION

Blue Run Baptist Church, Barboursville, will celebrate its 250th anniversary and Family and Friends day,  Sunday, June 23 at 2:30 p .m. with Pastor Robert Anthony.   The church is located on Route 20 near Blue Run Road. Our special guest will be The Rev. Phillip Carter, former pastor of Union Baptist Church, Afton.  Musical guest will be Rising Sun 5th Sunday choir from Mineral.  Lunch will be served after the morning service.

Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association will hold its 130th annual session beginning Saturday, July 13, at 4 p.m. with a pre-opening celebration featuring speaker Bishop Herbert H. Jackson, worship leader the Rev. Charles W. Wormley and the Mount Zion Spotsylvania choir.
